Business environment in Lithuania

Lithuania is a small country of only approximately 3.5 mln. people but with a strong economy. Opportunities have been limited for both Canadian companies and EDC in this market given its size and affinity to European supply. EDC has had only limited experience in Lithuania over the years under its lending, insurance and bonding programs. Lithuania is a member of the European Union.
