Georgia is a small country located in the strategic and politically unstable area between Russia, the Caspian Sea and Turkey. The most recent World Bank “ease of doing business” ranking placed Georgia 16th out of 190 countries. The country’s main economic activities are in agriculture and mining but with abundant supply of fresh water, opportunities also exist in hydropower (generation, distribution & transmission), infrastructure & extractives.
